My story

Lady Zig is Jessica. I am a mom, fiber artist, and former educator. I started crocheting when I was a kid and took a break from it. I just couldn’t find a style that felt like me.

I found that I needed a creative outlet to help reduce some stress and began crocheting again. By this time amigurumi had begun to pop up in my searches and I had to try it. I had some mild success with making them but nothing I would have sold.

Then I was given a pattern for the Tiger Man and was asked to make it. He was fun to do and really got me interested trying to design my own patterns and selling what I could.

I then realized that I had to move on from teaching and make a career change. Creations by Lady Zig was born. I really enjoy making custom creations from pictures or ideas that others have. Check out my gallery for past projects.
